Few things are more encouraging than hearing children sing for the Lord! Join us this coming Sunday evening at 6:00 to hear the children from our PeeWee Patch Club (4 yrs. old - 1st grade) share what they have learned over the last several weeks.

Obedience Over Sacrifice:

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. (1 Samuel 15:22)

It’s easy to serve God while missing what He is actually asking of us. We can give, serve, pray, and even make sacrifices, but God desires a heart that listens and obeys Him.

Obedience may not always be easy. Sometimes it requires surrendering our plans, our pride, or our desire to have things our own way. However, true worship is more than what we do outwardly; it begins with a heart willing to follow God.

Today, instead of asking, “God, what can I give You?” Let’s ask, “God, how can I obey You?"

May the Lord give us humble hearts, willing spirits, and the courage to obey His Word, even when it’s difficult.
