Saturday, September 4th, 10am to noon. Cemetery Action Day. Meet, fix, greet, refresh, clean, laugh, serve the community. Antioch will provide tools, equipment and refreshments. Cemeteries in Dallas County are considered “essential services” and, therefore, are exempt from closure under the ‘shelter-in-place’ order of the County Judge. However, operating cemeteries must adhere to the CDC rules for social distancing during burial services. The recommendation given is for families of the deceased to limit the number of participants, and for those that do attend to honor the six foot spacing guidelines. Funeral homes and cemetery staff should also be mindful the CDC guidelines for personnel facilitating the burial service.

We are doing our very best to make Antioch Life Park the top cemetery in Grand Prairie!

BUT..

We need your help! We are trying to raise money to improve the cemetery, apply for a state historic designation, ancient monument repair, needy burial assistance, lights and water, posting of interred data for NOK to research, etc. We have a monument that will allow us to commemorate those that have helped our cause with their name inscribed in granite, prominently displayed.
