Life doesn’t always give us reasons to smile. �

• Bills pile up �
• Relationships get strained �
• Health battles arise �
• Anxiety tries to take over �

And if we're honest…

Sometimes we're waiting for everything to get better before we decide to have peace.

But God never said:

� "Rejoice when everything goes your way."

He said:

� **"Rejoice in the Lord."**

Think about everyday life…

A storm doesn't stop a lighthouse from shining. ��

Why?

Because its power doesn't come from the weather around it…

� It comes from what it's connected to.

The same is true for us.

Our joy isn't based on:

• A promotion �
• A relationship �
• Money in the bank �
• Perfect circumstances �

True joy comes from knowing:

� God is still in control.

� **Scripture Reference:**

*"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"* — **Philippians 4:4**

Notice Paul didn't say:

"Rejoice when life is easy."

He said:

� **Always.**

Because trust says:

"Lord, I don't understand everything… but I know You do."

� Trust Him when the answer is delayed
� Trust Him when the future is uncertain
� Trust Him when your feelings are all over the place

Because peace isn't found in having all the answers…

� It's found in knowing the One who does.

And maybe today…

God isn't asking you to figure everything out.

He's simply asking you to trust Him. ��

Because when you trust the Lord…

� You can rejoice, even while you're still waiting.

When life starts going well, it’s easy to say:

� “I worked hard for this.”

And maybe you did. �

You studied. �
You sacrificed. �
You stayed disciplined. �

But here's the question:

Who gave you the strength to keep going when you wanted to quit?

Who protected you when you didn't even know you were being protected?

Who opened doors no resume, degree, connection, or talent could open? �

Think about everyday life...

A farmer may plant the seed �

But he can't make it rain. �

He can work the field...

But only God can bring the increase.

The same is true in our lives.

Yes, work hard.

Yes, be disciplined.

Yes, pursue excellence.

But never get so focused on your achievement that you forget the One who made it possible.

Because pride says:

� "Look what I did."

But gratitude says:

� "Look what God did through me."

� **Scripture Reference:**

*"Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth."* — **Deuteronomy 8:18**

Every blessing...
Every promotion...
Every victory...
Every breakthrough...

Has God's fingerprints all over it. ��

� Stay humble when you win
� Stay grateful when you succeed
� Give God glory before, during, and after the blessing

Because the goal isn't just to reach the top...

� It's to honor God when you get there.

The world celebrates achievement.

But Heaven celebrates a heart that remembers where the blessing came from. ��
