Our first Sunday in our new home was one we will never forget!

Bishop-Elect Tomi Arayomi surprised us today and brought a powerful word on sifting, righteousness, and establishment.

In this season, God is removing the mixture, strengthening what remains, and establishing His people on a foundation that can withstand every storm.

We are so grateful for what God is doing at RIG Church DFW, and we believe this is only the beginning. Our roots are going deeper, our faith is getting stronger, and God is establishing this house!

This Sunday, we step through new doors and into a new season as a church family.

What we have prayed for, prepared for, sacrificed for, and believed God for, we are finally stepping into.

And while the space is new, the God who brought us here is the same.

NEW SPACE. NEW SEASON. SAME GOD.

We’re stepping into a significant month as a church family, a new beginning, deeper community, serving together, and making room for God to speak again.

From New Beginnings Sunday in our new space to House Church gatherings, Serve Team Connect, and IG YA Reimagined, September is full of opportunities to connect, grow, serve, and build community.

Our last Sunday at Hilton Arlington was more than a service; it was a moment of baptism, transformation, and commissioning. 🌊

Today, we watched 16+ people go into the waters of baptism, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus and rising to walk in newness of life. What a beautiful picture of lives surrendered, old things passing away, and a new chapter beginning.

And how fitting that on Jordan Sunday, we were reminded from Matthew 3 that when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan, the heavens opened and Heaven declared:

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

There is an announcement from Heaven over your life.

A suddenly.
A new level.
A new assignment.

Today wasn’t only about going into the water, it was about coming out ready to live SENT.

We were challenged to stop simply occupying a seat in the church and start occupying the spaces God has called us to, our workplaces, schools, businesses, communities, and every sphere of influence.

We are equipped in the building, but the world is our mission field.

And what a way to close one chapter. Today was our final Sunday at Hilton Arlington, and next Sunday, we step into a NEW SEASON and a NEW HOME! 🏠

Tomorrow is JORDAN SUNDAY! 👟🌊

Yes, wear your Jordans, but Jordan Sunday is about more than the shoes. It points us back to the Jordan River, a place that represents crossing over, new beginnings, and where Jesus Himself was baptized.

And tomorrow, we get to celebrate BAPTISM SUNDAY together!

Come ready to worship. Come ready to celebrate every life declaring publicly, “I have decided to follow Jesus.”

And maybe tomorrow is your day too. If you’ve given your life to Jesus but haven’t been baptized, this is your invitation. Don’t overthink it. Take the next step.

Who is a Wise One?

A Wise One isn’t simply someone who knows Scripture or makes good decisions.

A Wise One is someone whose life, influence, and encounter with Jesus lead other people toward Christ and righteousness.

They live in the light.
They steward their influence.
They produce life.
They shine in darkness.
They win souls.
They turn people toward righteousness.
And what God deposits in them doesn’t stop with them; it multiplies.

“He who wins souls is wise.” - Proverbs 11:30

The question is not whether you have influence. Everybody influences somebody.

The question is: Where is your life leading people?

Wise Ones don’t just shine. They help other people find the Light.
