We had a great time hearing testimonies from the team that went to the Nepal mission trip. Praying everyone was impacted to go preach the good news. God is good.

Also pastor Danny and the team are returning back home from Nepal and will share how they spread the gospel in the midst of persecution.

May we continue to pray for strength for our brothers and sisters in Christ being persecuted around the world.

Following Jesus unto repentance

We repent because he commands us to. And because we love him we obey.

Remember the rich man? He wants to follow Jesus, he asks “Jesus what to do to inherit eternal life? Jesus tells him to sell all he has and give to the poor, but the man walk away sorrowfully. Still today many say they want to follow Christ but as soon as God says I want you to go to a nation that no one really wants to go and preach the gospel. Or he may want us to go to our workplace and tell the people about him and about his truth. We tend to stay comfortable and grow lethargic and complacent. At this point it’s not following Christ all the way.

Being a follower of Christ is laying down your life. Its about obeying the Father.

He wants us to deny ourselves. This means to give up our desires in favor of God’s will.
He wants us to take up our cross daily. This involves submitting to his will on a daily basis and following him, even when it gets difficult. He wants us to sell possessions and give to the poor. In some cases, be willing to let go of material wealth and earthly possessions for heavenly treasure.

We are called to expose evil.

We will have a teaching on exposing darkness and praying for eyes to be opened to his truth and we will renounce and come out of agreement with darkness and repent for partaking in halloween things…For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:8-11
