Blankets for Babies Ministry News
This ministry is alive and well at our parish. Last week I delivered 6 blankets and 12 nursing pillows to the Women’s Care Center in Duluth. There are another 15 blankets cut & ready to be tied, and I need your help. Please join me, Thursday, August 27th after
morning Mass for a light breakfast (eggs & coffee cake) to (hopefully) complete those blankets. I will provide a brief introduction to the Care Center, so bring a friend (ALL are
welcome). I’m reaching out to anyone in the community who wants to put action behind their desire to end abortion. We can & do make a difference: 92% of women who go to the Center choose life after seeing their ultrasound. I am willing to create “satellite”
meetings for folks who live out of the Grand Marais area (Lutsen, Hovland, Grand Portage, etc.) Please call or text if you’d like to help in any way: Linda Bauer 218-370-9802

Our Parish Picnic is this Sunday immediately following Mass in the parish social hall! Come enjoy delicious burgers, brats,
hot dogs, and all the fixings while spending time with friends and fellow parishioners.
Please bring your favorite side dish, salad, or dessert to share. Everyone is welcome—come hungry and enjoy a wonderful
afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun with your parish family!
