Today is the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. Our Lady of Lourdes is a Marian apparition that took place in Lourdes, France. She appeared eighteen times to illiterate, impoverished, fourteen-year-old St. Bernadette in 1858. The waters at Lourdes are known to have miraculous healing capabilities.

Today I ask Our Lady of Lourdes to pray for our collective healing. That hearts may heal and be more open for love of neighbor. I ask Our Lady of Lourdes to pray for me, that my wounds would be healed.
