Knight of the Month for May: Dave Trakul

Dave is involved in our Council and our Parish in many ways. Dave is currently serving our council as a Trustee and recently took the lead role on our Millionaire Party Committee. Dave stepped in to make sure the paperwork for our last event and our next event were completed and kept the event going. Dave also volunteers countless hours during the fish fry season and is involved in our parish as a hospitality minister and sacristan. Congratulations to Dave Trakul on Knight of the Month.

Family of the Month for May: Tom & Jan Theis

Tom and Jan are always willing to help around the Parish and our Council. Tom regularly volunteers during Fish Fry’s, Wild Game Dinner, and other council events. Tom and Jan also support our Parish in many ways helping during Mass. Jan currently serves the Parish on the Pastoral Council. Tom and Jan, thank you for all that you do and congratulations on family of the month.

Family of the Month for April: Bud and Michelle Lawson

Bud and Michelle do so much for our council and our Parish. Bud wears many hats in our council including Financial Secretary and Membership Director. He plays a key role during our fish fries and wild game dinners. Bud also volunteers at so many of our council events. Bud has also been extremely helpful in guiding me in many ways as Grand Knight. Michelle also does so much for our council through the Ladies Auxiliary planning events for our members and our families. Family game nights, euchre nights, and murder mystery dinners are just a few of the fun events that Michelle helps to plan for us all. Bud and Michelle are also very active in our Parish in so many ways including OCIA leaders. Bud and Michelle, thank you for all that you do for our council and our parish!

Knight of the Month for April: Andrew Beardslee

Drew is currently serving as Deputy Grand Knight and Program director for our council. He is a regular attendant and reader for our 8:30 Mass. Drew has also been working the last few months to help organize and lead Cor meetings. Drew also volunteers and participates in many of our council events as well as events through St. Michael School. Drew, thank you for all that you do!

Knight of the Month for March: William (Bill) Westen

Bill volunteered his time at every fish fry our council was able to put on this year. Bill came early every week to help with prep work and was always ready with perfect batter for our fried fish. Bill also turned 90 years young just before our last fish fry of the year and was still in the kitchen doing whatever he could to support the fish fry. Bill we wish you a happy 90th birthday and thank you for all that you continue to do!

Family of the Month for March: Eric and Adam Hafner

Eric and Adam Hafner volunteered on the cleanup crew for each of our fish fries this year. They picked up an important role cleaning and setting up the fryers each week. Eric and Adam are also active in our Council and our Parish in many other ways including volunteering during our wild game dinners and during FunFest. Eric and Adam, thank you for all of the hard work you put in to support our council!

Knight of the Month for February: Dan Klodt

Dan serves our council and our Parish in many ways, including his role as Wild Game Dinner Committee Chairman. The committee does a great job each year planning and preparing for our largest fundraiser of the year and this year was no exception! Dan is well organized and keeps meetings on topic. Dan is also very involved in many council events including FunFest, Fish Frys, Kayaking, breakfasts, and so many more. It is hard to think of an event or volunteer opportunity that Dan is not a part of in support of our council. Thank you Dan, and the entire Wild Game Dinner committee, for all that you do to make the event go so smoothly.

Family of the Month for February: Jerry & Cathy Wilhm

While our Wild Game Dinner committee makes the event run smoothly, Cathy and Jerry Wilhm are essential to the success of the event making the kitchen run smoothly. Cathy and Jerry have been amazing at coming up with new recipes and adapting to the different types of wild game that get thrown at them each year. Cathy also went above and beyond finding time to put together a Wild Game Dinner cookbook in honor of our 30th dinner this year featuring all of our favorite dishes over the years. Thank you to Jerry, Cathy and the entire kitchen crew for making this year even better than the last. Congratulations on Family of the Month!

Knight of the Month for January: Steve Kreft

Steve is an active member of our council and supports many of our programs. He is highly involved with our Cans for Seminarians program collecting cans and manning the trailer before and after 8:30 Mass. Steve is also a regular volunteer during the fish fries, wild game dinners, and Adopt-a-Highway events. Thank you Steve for all your efforts in supporting our Council and our Parish.
