Good morning from 2nd Chances!
Wanted to let you know what we're up to:
1) The votes have been tallied and we'll be going with the purple striped fabric for the waiting room chairs in Grand Junction.
2) It has been decided our wall art for the GJ office will be pictures of families instead of something abstract.
3) Raynee's still plugging along on the website and started a weight loss journey she's invited everyone to join her on.
4) The flowers, chocolates and Valentine's cards have been purchased for the MPK kids to prepare for nursing home residents for Valentine's day.
5) James has decided his boss (Raynee) is a monster boss lady (as well as his wife) so he's decided to seek other employment. He didnt like me saying "I am to the boss of you!" Lol Just kidding, he was always just helping us out at 2and Chances.
6) We are still looking for two MA level therapists to join our practice, ( shameless plug coming: great pay and supervision for licensing provided.)
7) We are accepting clients at our Grand Junction location (another shameless plug coming: call us at 970-644-7025!)
8) 2nd Chances parents are learning how to consequence. Instead of giving revenge punishments, they're learning Punishments that Teach (or PTTs).
9) In our MPK group we have kids who have: made honor roll, been triple winners, have had zero school suspensions, one was allowed back on the bus-thank you Mrs. Kusar and is handling that privilege like a champ!
Our MPK kids are stepping up, helping others, and going above and beyond what anyone's expectations are for them. It has been and will continue to be my honor to watch them grow into their potential, to see them realize their worth and to hear them assert "I am a man/woman of integrity and honor"!
