At Monument Presbyterian Church we offer the opportunity for our youth in Middle and High School to grow closer to God, and to discover what it is to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our mission that guided by the Holy Spirit we will make disciples of Jesus Christ by meeting the spiritual, relational, and educational needs of the youth and their parents in our congregation an
d the community. There are weekly studies, special events, missions work, and trips that create a climate for this mission. We encourage parents to become involved in the ministries in a number of ways; volunteering with the youth ministry, joining and participating in adult Bible studies, and any other way that would strengthen their faith so they can support their son’s or daughter’s faith. We have a very active Youth Ministry Team that is building a sustainable youth ministry to meet our long range goals. We value a faith that lasts, that focuses on Jesus, calls students to service, nurtures a mature faith, and builds community (Eph. 4:11-16). We look for a faith the lives through radical hospitality, passionate worship, intentional faith development, risk-taking mission and service, and extravagant generosity. If you would like to know more about the Youth Ministry at Monument Presbyterian Church and the exciting things going on within the ministry, or you want to know how you can become a volunteer working with our youth please contact Jay D.
