Destiny Church's mission is to help people fulfill and perfect their God given Destiny, and to be an expression of God's love by meeting the needs of our community through various outre

aches programs. We strive to positively impact the city of Grand Island and surrounding areas through inspired worship and transformative messages that encourage intimacy with God. We also strive to follow the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

OUR VISION:
At Destiny, we want every person to feel welcomed, being treated with love and dignity. We want to be a church filled with heartfelt praise and worship that touches heaven and changes earth. A church that is so dependent on the Holy Spirit that nothing will stop nor stand against it. A church where people can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, as they drive by and walk through the doors. At Destiny, we want to have a church family that grows, worships, serves, and plays together; a church family that laughs, cries, learns, and reaches out to our world with the life transforming truth of the gospel, to not only see the city of Grand Island transformed, but also the towns around us, the state, nation, and world.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
Jesus established the New Covenant at the cross: Matthew 26:27-30.
New Covenant is ratified through Communion
1. We ratify what Jesus accomplished on the cross.
- Ratify is a formal approval to an agreement
- I approve of the New Covenant with God
2. Understanding Jesus broken body and shed blood comes
through revelation
-Communion is a physical expression of a spiritual truth and
reality
-Faith brings heavenly truth into our lives
3. Righteousness and healing are already legally accomplished
in heaven.
-I accept and declare the ruling of the courts of heaven and
remind the devil of my covenant standing.
4. We are to enforce the New Covenant in our lives
-Refuse to surrender your covenant rights to the devil
-The devil cannot stop the victory of the New Covenant

NOTES: James 2. Three concerns about showing favortism:
1. It is inconistant with God’s nature. Romans 2:5-11 and Acts 10:34-35.
2. It is inconsiderate of others. Philillians 2:3
3. It is incompatable with the law of love. Galatians 5:14 and Matthew 22:37-40. God values all people, we don’t devalue what God values.

Warning against two things: Verse 10.
1. Selective obedience. Obey only part of God’s word.
2. Relative Innocence. Faith without corresponding action is
dead.

Faith is information and corresponding action. Faith is belief and corresponding action linked together.
Two examples of faith:
1. Abraham
2. Rahab
By our fruit we will be known. We are not saved by works but a saved life has good works.

- Intellectual Growth is not Spiritual Growth
4. Spiritual Gifts downloaded in peoples lives
- You are gifted to fulfill God’s purpose for your life.

Belt of Truth: which is The word of God-Source is God’s Word: Hebrews 5:12-13.
Breastplate of Rightousness: Source is Rightoussness- Protects the Heart: Proverbs 4:23 - Obeying God’s Word keeps your heart protected.
Shoes Fitted with the Gospel of Peace: Source is the Gospel-Shoes were designed to protect and as a weapon.
Sheild of Faith: Source is Faith-It doesn’t stop the arrows from coming but from doing damage.
Helmet of Salvation: Salvation is the Source: 2 Timothy 1:7 - We have a saved mind. - 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 -The unbelivers minds are blinded.
Sword of the Spirit: Source is a word Specific Word from God.

Rehma is a word God quickens to your Spirit.- Acts 14:8-10 and Acts 16:16-18
