No Sunday School this week due to the holiday weekend! The Nursery will still be open for those who need it and in-service activity bags are always available as well. Enjoy your family time and we'll see you on May 31st!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day at St. Paul's. While the adults enjoyed an outdoor service which God graced with perfect Spring weather, the children learned that when we follow Jesus we want to be like Jesus. They visited stations around the room where they prayed, wrote encouraging notes to each other, created signs that share what they know about God and Jesus with others, and worshiped with music.

Ask your child which station was their favorite. How can we be more like Jesus in our everyday lives?

May is such a busy time in the lives of most parents. Spring sports are in full swing, end of the school year events and field trips are piling up, and summer plans need to be made. Let church be your moment to slow down this month and feel the peace of Christ amidst the chaos.

On Sunday the St. Paul's Kids learned about ways that Jesus showed people that he is God's Son. Reread John 10 together and talk about ways we can know that Jesus is God's Son.

This lesson is especially important leading into Holy Week. Take a moment as a family to think of questions that you have about Jesus being God's Son. Use the Bible to answer questions and pray on those that can't be answered yet.

Last week in Kids Ministry we learned how showing love to others can make a big difference! Jesus showed us that loving others is always the right choice—even when it’s not the easy choice.

In **Luke 13:10–17**, Jesus healed a woman who had been suffering for many years. Even though some people thought it wasn’t the “right time,” Jesus chose compassion. He showed everyone that loving and helping others is always important.

🌟 **Create a Random Acts of Kindness Jar**
Together with your kids come up with ideas for random acts of kindness. Write them down on small pieces of paper and put them into a jar. During this season of Lent, challenge each other to choose an idea from the jar and complete it. Share your successes and talk about when it was easy and when it was hard.

Here are some ideas for your jar:
* Share a toy with a friend
* Help someone clean up
* Write a kind note to a family member
* Pray for someone who needs encouragement
