What a fun beach night of fellowship and fun! We enjoyed volleyball, frisbee, and sandcastle building. Thanks to everyone who came by. See you next month for our next beach night, on Saturday, July 11. More information to come!

Quite a crowd at pickleball today! Thanks to everyone who shows up, has fun, and fills this church with joy!

Beginners’ pickleball is hosted in the Wiltse Center (main floor) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Our first beach night of the summer is this Saturday, June 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.! No sign-up required, all ages welcome! Just bring yourself and any beach amenities to join your Church of the Dunes family for a night of beach fellowship at Grand Haven State Park (between markers 5 and 6).

We are aware that there is a chance for a little rain Saturday and will continue to monitor conditions. Any weather updates will be posted to our Facebook.

Last week was the final week of Tri-Cities Community Singers rehearsals at Church of the Dunes, until the group resumes again in the fall. They celebrated with one last rehearsal and a potluck! Keep an eye out for more information on how to get involved in this choir in the coming months.

As of this week, you will notice new social principles signs displayed around the church.

Each sign reflects a core belief from the United Methodist Church’s social principles. Each Sunday, the signs will be rotated to highlight a different belief tenet. If you are interested in getting one of the signs to display in your own yard, contact Paul Martin. Our Communications Director may not be able to snap on beat, but she can remind you that the first weekend in June is Wear Orange Weekend. Please mark your calendars for the upcoming silent march on ending gun violence in collaboration with St John's Episcopal Church, on Saturday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Park in Grand Haven.
