Yesterday, as our Preschoolers learned about David defeating Goliath, they were able to see and experience just how big Goliath was! They learned that no matter what we're up against, we can be brave when we trust and know that God goes before us. 💪🪨

A huge thanks to Ron Jarvi for generously painting this giant Goliath for New Life Kids! Our Preschoolers absolutely loved it, and will certainly continue to enjoy it for years to come.

We've been having so much fun on Wednesday nights in our Imaginarium Art Club! Each week, our kids have been exploring different art mediums as a way to slow down, create, and connect with God's Word through art.

📦Wednesday Night Circle Duct Tape Club has been a blast! Our Elementary kids are building the Armor of God out of duct tape and cardboard and learning about God's great presence in our lives. They are master builders!📦

❄️Tomorrow we kick off the year of Wednesday night Circles!
There is a circle for the whole family -- Adults, youth, and kids! Adults and youth will have a worship and prayer night, and our kids will meet in their designated circle rooms by age group!

It is a joy to gather in the middle of the week to participate in God's work for his people and children. We will see you tomorrow!❄️

🍗Tomorrow at 6:30pm is KIDSgiving! Preschool to 5th Grade will be combined together in the Elementary Kids Room to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will eat some delicious snacks and play some fun games! It would be a joy to have your child join us!🍗

Mark 9.36-37
36"...he (Jesus) took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.”

Children matter to God. And we believe it! I am so thankful to partner with such great leaders and teachers (like Mr. Mike in the photo) who love to be present with the kids at New Life. Not only do we get to share the Gospel and stories from scripture, but we get to learn how God is working and moving in their lives. Jesus is present when your kids gather on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

Maybe tonight at dinner ask your child, "Where have you seen God lately?" or "What does it sound like when God speaks to you?"

See where your conversation goes, and be open to learning something new about God from your child!

🍂Yesterday was the perfect fall night for a hike! In our Outdoor Adventure Circle last night we walked through the church trail. Our inspiration was from Luke 10:1-20 when Jesus sent out the 72 missionaries two by two to be hosted by people of different cities and spaces where he himself intended to go. We learned that God is with us and ahead of us. We were hosted by God's amazing creation looking for beautiful leaves, animals, trees, and flowers. God is always at work in us and in unexpected places!🍂
