A lot of the post on this page came from someone you might have not known where they came from. Does it matter if they were uplifting? - Rodric

Without conversation history can be manipulated. Just as anything else without research can provide false information. The truth is the truth. Stand on it! -Rodric

If you’re feeling discouraged about the future, you’re not alone.

We always expect life to be filled with ups and downs. But lately, it feels like the downs are winning. Like the hits keep coming—both harder and closer together.

But God is right here with us! He is not shaken when inflation intensifies. He is not rattled when natural disasters strike. The lies of deceitful leaders do not threaten him. The news of the day is not a surprise to Him, nor is the condition of our culture.

In Matthew 24, He warned that things would get bad...

Lies and loss of trust...
Wars and rumors of war...
Devastation and disaster...
Pressure and persecution...
Lawlessness and lovelessness.....and worse! “All these are the beginning of sorrows,” He predicts in Matthew 24:8.

Yet, even so, God is not discouraged. And as His child, neither should you be!

Grace for the Moment

All things…for good.
Romans 8:28

Andrew McCutchen is an outfielder, currently playing for the Milwaukee Brewers, whose milestones include scoring over 1,000 career runs and 350 doubles. Along the way, he’s had his share of injuries, defeats, aches, and pains. But McCutchen is an outspoken Christian who has learned to deal with adversity by trusting God. When injured a few years ago, he said, “God is using this for good. Romans 8:28—He’s using what I’m going through, He’s using it for His good. And I realize that. He shows me here and there that the injury was tough… but there’s beauty that comes out of it.”

We have abundant promises of God’s guidance, steadfast love, instruction, and protection. Best of all, we have the eternal promise of everlasting life.

Because we know that God works all things for our good, we can worship Him in the midst of trials. When we’re on the disabled list, we know He is still able! Trust the God of Romans 8:28.

Sing to One Another

Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:19

Paul wrote two parallel verses about the use of songs and hymns for the edification of believers: Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16. In Ephesians, Paul wrote, “Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.” But in Colossians, he used the stronger word “admonish”—“admonishing one another.” “Speaking” in Ephesians, but “admonishing” in Colossians. One thing is the same in both: “one another.” There is great power in spiritual hymns and songs that contain biblical truth. When we sing (speak) together and give attention to the words, they can instruct and admonish us just as they can when we read them in the Bible or biblically-based books.

There is suffering abound in many forms in the world in which we live. Too many in society today suffer from the after-effects of brokenness, grief, loneliness, loss and all kinds of undesirable circumstances. Suffering in silence obviously goes unheard but suffering out loud forces people to pay attention to your pain. Having gone through suffering gives us a deeper, greater level of understanding, which enables us to comfort others who suffer. Our suffering develops character building experience that enhances our ability to relate and teach. For these reasons, I truly believe that to suffer is gain.🤔 Grow through what you go through...🙌🏾 Happy Sunday!!! 🙏🏽😁✊🏽

"Patience is a virtue!"👍🏾 Well PATIENCE is not one of my best qualities; however, life has forced me to learn that it is a critical necessity relative to acceptance and understanding. Virtuous patience is not about the waiting; it's about NOT getting overly frustrated and knowing how to smartly move forward while you do.👌🏾 Now consider that while you're waiting, you are being tested on how proactive, productive and self-supporting you are during that process.🤔 Some things simply take longer than we'd like. So, do your part to facilitate the outcome you desire... Happy Thursday!!! 🙏🏽😁✊🏽

All of us know that breathing is one of the most necessary and important functions of living.👈🏾 Please allow me to break down the word and say what I think it means to breathe. BREATHE: To BENEFIT from fairness, to RELEASE a painful past, to ENJOY a peaceful existence, to APPRECIATE love, to THRIVE in chaos, to HEAL😊, and to EXCEL in life! This is my take on what breathing represents. Anyone who experienced literal or metaphorical difficulty breathing can truly appreciate its significance. So, please take full advantage of your ability to BREATHE...🙌🏾 Happy Wednesday!!! 🙏🏽😁✊🏽

We deal with life on life's terms. Meaning: Contrary to what we believe, we have very little control over several aspects of our lives. Life is cruel, harsh and will be rough at times. And to make matters worse, life's timing is terrible and the unexpected always happens.👈🏾 There are only two true options in rough times and adversity: avoid the challenges and run or rise up and face them!👍🏾 How you proceed is critical to your survival and development. Make wise life choices. .. Happy Sunday!!! 🙏🏽😁✊🏽

It's been said that your joy is the source of your smile, but it's also true that sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.👈🏾 Let's call it a reciprocal relationship--a sort of 'I give you what you give me type of thing'.👌🏾 Smiles are highly contagious and have the power to cut through painful realities and sadness. So, get your smile on and help spread this beautiful condition of joy.😊😀😁 By the way, you look so much better when you smile.😉 The world (America in particular) can really use a smile right now... Happy Friday!!! 🙏🏽❤️✌🏽
