Many of you have heard the story of how DinoFest got it's name. Joey our Grand Pohbah's son was listening to his dad Dennis talk about the concept of our event and said " Dad, That's a Festy! You got food, music, vendors and a big crowd. That's exactly what a FESTY is." That's how DinoFest was born. Unfortunately Joey passed away in 2025 so this year we'll honor his memory by dedicating this Festy to him. We hope to have some special guests and many of his tribe join us. If you knew Joey there was nothing he liked more than having fun, listening to music and spending time with his chosen family. Joey loved Greatful Dead Music so if you're not wearing your Dino Best consider some Tye Dye or get extra fancy and combine the two. We hope to honor him and bring his dad Dennis Doucette some big smiles and lots of hugs. 💗 In our family ROAR means I love you and we want Joey to feel our love all the way in Heaven. 🦕💙🦖 💜

VBS Pool Party & Pot Luck 8/30/26 at 1PM Check in with Tasondra for address and details. We look forward to seeing you all there. It has been a wonderful summer of Messy Faith together. Picnic will happen rain or shine, if it rains the Pot Luck will be held at the Parish Hall. We encourage you to come and bring a friend. 🙏🏽💜

Vacation Bible School Pizza Party was a delight. Thank you to all who came and made it memorable. The lesson was about having "Messy Faith." Our participants were asked the following; " If building your faith is like making a pizza, what would that be like?" Outside of some silly answers which were admittedly cheesy it didn't take long to get the answer. If your faith were a pizza then you would be the crust, because you hold all the parts. The toppings would be people in your life and experience/lessons you've learned. The sauce would be things you hold close to you and the cheese your family and friends making everything better. Now who would be missing in that equation? GOD! So we went back through and obviously we still need God so they thought and figured it out, God is the oven. A pizza is just all it's parts until cooked to the right consistency. Sometimes we forget our plans and timing take a backseat to God's. So next time you enjoy a slice, think about your faith, say a prayer and enjoy.💜🙏🏽

We'll be worshipping jointly with Center Church of South Hadley, MA for the month of July at Church of Christ Congregational, UCC Granby MA 235 State St. Granby, MA 01033. Church starts at 10:30. Our VBS Kick Off Party is at 12?:30 we hope you'll join us. Come learn about " Messy Faith " 🥰🙏🏽

😊 Vacation Bible School Kick Off July 5th at 12:30. Come for Fun & Fellowship and help us explore Messy Faith this VBS. We'll be eating some cool treats and exploring why FAITH can get messy. 😊

💗 Your Missions Board is gearing up for our Surf & Turf drive. 🐥 20 Chicks & 2 Coups plus 2,000 fish 🐟 which is 4 ponds worth will help feed many families. It’s a gift that keeps on giving as they normally share babies with other families and farms. Our goal is to raise $330.00, whatever we raise on top of that will help us purchase more but we're hoping to at least raise that. Keep an eye out for information and help us feed the many. They say "If you give a man a fish you'll feed him for a day, but if you teach him to fish, he can eat for lifetime." These ponds help communities have fertile fishing grounds and kickstart whole ecosystems. Jesus was a fisher of men so here we are hoping you'll help us HATCH this idea and check out our information on Church World Service.🐟🐥💗 Checks can be made out to Church of Christ with Surf & Turf in the memo line.

Come for the Food Mobile on 6/26. We'll be here with Granby To Go and Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Inc. From 4:30-6:00PM Helping to feed our community. Please bring your reusable shopping bags and feel free to tell your family and friends.
Need more help? Make sure you check out Neighbors Helping Neighbors during operating hours. Go to 30 Carew St. South Hadley, MA 0175 on Wednesdays from 12:30-6PM & Saturdays 10-12PM. If it's your first time just bring a piece of mail to show you're from Granby or South Hadley. Home Bound? Call them, they will deliver. 💜
