Brothers Of The Cross Granbury We are a brotherhood of men who meet the first Thursday of the month from May through October under the trees tor fun and fellowship.

WHO ARE THE BROTHERS OF THE CROSS? We are a brotherhood of men from all people, regardless of race, creed, color, or denominational preference, joined together and dedicated to fulfilling the will of God in Christ Jesus. A brother is one that fulfills Romans 12:1&2;

(1) "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,

which is your

reasonable service,

(2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable,

and perfect will of God. WHAT WE BELIEVE

~We believe in the Deity of Christ, that God the Father (I Am) is the one and only true God.

~We believe that Jesus, our Messiah, came to earth and died on the cross for our sins and forever reconciled man with God the Father.

~We believe that Christ arose from the grave on the third day and by His resurrection He conquered death, hell, and the grave, and because

He lives, we live.

~We believe Jesus is the only way to inherit eternal life, and none can come to the Father except through believing, repenting, and accepting

His Son, Jesus, as the Christ and Messiah.

~We believe that the Holy Spirit lives within a believing Christian. By faith, we are "born again," and He transforms us into His image.

~We believe the Bible is true. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,

for instruction in righteousness.

Brothers of the Cross Prayer Group meets at 6 a.m. every Wednesday morning at the Hood County courthouse gazebo in downtown Granbury. In cold weather, the men meet upstairs above Linda's Southern Kitchen at 201 E Pearl St., Granbury. Use side entrance.
