Please welcome our summer intern, Ian Martin:
Hi! My name is Ian Martin, I’m 21, from Abilene, TX, and I am going into my Senior year as a Music Major at Tarleton State University. After I graduate I’m planning on either attending The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, or Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue a Master’s in Divinity (MDiv). I’ve known the Lord has placed vocational ministry on my heart for a while, and the last 2 summers I have had the opportunity to intern at my church (Rocky Point Baptist) in Stephenville, but this summer decided to branch out and see what opportunities the Lord might have to expand my experience. It seemed like the other paths I could have chosen were not open doors for one reason or another, until I had the opportunity to serve with your Youth Group as a leader for their DNow weekend, where the first night God placed on my heart the question of “What happens after this weekend.”, so after a few conversations with Josh, the Lord answered that prayer and opened up the door to serve with yall this Summer! I am so excited to build relationships with yall and serve Him however I am able in my time with yall!
