Good morning, Woodley!

I hope everyone had a blessed Sunday. I greatly enjoyed spending time with you during and after our service. I hope you did too, and I pray we will all continue to grow in Christlikeness -- individually, and as a body fit for his glory.

Here is a quick recap of our "We The Church" series, and an overview of yesterday's message. Again, I stress that I create daily video devotionals for you. After each sermon, I provide a short recap to emphasize my main points, and encourage action. These are my weekly handouts, so to speak. They cost us nothing, and they are created in a language that most of us speak these days (phone language -- video language -- short and sweet language). I do hope you will take the time to watch them.

Furthermore, while Facebook only allows for our livestreams to be available for a short time, I also upload them to my YouTube account to make them available at all times. Please take advantage of it. If you miss the message and/or are serving in a way that keeps you from the message, I want to make sure you can still see it. You are our family in Christ, and we are walking this path together. It is important that we walk alongside one another in the Word of God -- that is the foundation of truth.

We The Church (Part Three)

Good morning, church!

What time is it? Church time!!! Last week, we celebrated Pentecost Sunday -- a day that is worth as much weight as Christmas and Easter. Now, we will gather to find out what comes next, "We The Church (Now What?)."

Please join us today, in person or online, as we celebrate the gift of Christ and his church, and consider what that means for our lives; and specifically, for Woodley. We will have our regular service at 10:30, and then gather for a time of food and fellowship thereafter to cast a vision for the future.

Noise! Noise! Noise! Silence the noise! Sounds like the beginning of a Dr. Seuss book, right? In reality, it is something we need to practice daily (silence!), and the noise often deprives us of something we desperately need to know. What is it? It's basic and simple yet we complicate it.
