Can God Really Use My Doubts?
Weekly Devotional: https://youtu.be/H-R_tuQbVtc?si=MHhHTomaOKXKjODM

Deuteronomy 8:2 reminds Israel that God led them through the wilderness to humble them, test them, and reveal what was in their hearts. That does not mean doubt is good, or that unbelief should be treated lightly. But it does mean God is not surprised by our weakness, and he can use even difficult seasons to expose what we trust, where we struggle, and how deeply we need him.

In this weekly devotion, we reflect on how God can use spiritual deserts to grow real faith. Doubt may show us where we have trusted what we see more than what God says. It may reveal where we have forgotten his past faithfulness. It may uncover places where our expectations of God have become larger than our surrender to God.

The faithful response is not to hide doubt, feed doubt, or excuse doubt. It is to bring it honestly before the Lord, remember what he has done, return to his Word, and ask him to strengthen faith where unbelief has taken root.

Have you seen God use a hard season to reveal what was in your heart? Share in the comments.

Part 6 of our Q&A series asked a question many believers wrestle with:

“Why do I struggle with doubt?”

This week’s message reminded us that doubt is not something unfamiliar to the people of God. Throughout Scripture, we see men and women who faced fear, uncertainty, questions, and struggles — yet learned to place their trust in the Lord through it all.

We walked through 7 causes of doubt and 7 responses of faith, learning that faith is not the absence of questions, but trusting in the sovereignty, goodness, and truth of God even when life feels uncertain.

One of the points we discussed was the danger of false teaching and how the voices we allow to shape our understanding of God can either strengthen our faith or lead us into confusion and doubt.

“...so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine...” — Ephesians 4:14

Keep an eye out for this week’s devotional as we take today’s message a little deeper throughout the week.

Join us next Sunday at 10AM for Part 7 of our Q&A series as we continue to dive deeper into common questions in the church.

We’d love to worship with you!

Love is more than affirmation, it transforms. ❤️

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.” Ephesians 4:15

Our culture often defines love as never disagreeing, never correcting, and always affirming. But biblical love goes deeper. Real love cares enough to speak truth with grace, compassion, and humility because it desires what is good, holy, and life-giving.

Truth without love becomes harsh. Love without truth becomes powerless. But Jesus was full of both grace and truth. He loved people deeply while also calling them toward repentance, healing, and transformation.

God’s correction is not rejection. It is evidence of His love for us. He loves us too much to leave us unchanged.

We all need people in our lives who love us enough to encourage us, challenge us, pray for us, and point us toward Christ. True love cares more about eternity than temporary comfort.

Join us tomorrow at 10AM for Sunday service as we continue with Part 6 of our Q&A series! We’d love to worship with you. 🙌

“‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus.” 🤍

There is something so powerful about the body of Christ gathering together in worship and prayer. In a busy and distracted world, taking time to pause, seek the Lord, and worship alongside fellow believers is such a gift.

We’re grateful for a church family that desires to pursue God together and lift up our community in prayer.

Join us every third Friday at 6:30 PM for Worship & Prayer at Cedar Springs Community Church. Everyone is welcome, and childcare is provided.
