Whether you’re a couple, a parent/teen duo, or simply have a heart for serving kids, we’d love to have you join the team.

The Conquer Series is a 10-week Christian discipleship series designed to help men find freedom from po*******hy and sexual bo***ge through biblical truth, practical tools, and accountability.

Over 10 weeks, men will explore what Scripture says about purity while learning how addiction affects the brain, how to develop a battle plan, and how to pursue lasting heart transformation.

This week, we had the opportunity to pray over and send off our very own Zach Bunker as he prepares for a new season God has called him into. 💙

Zach graduated earlier this year, and today he begins his journey into a nine-month discipleship training course called gap year, which will be with one of our other Confluence Churches !

As Zach travels and begins this next chapter, we’d love for our church family to continue praying for him. Pray for safe travels, spiritual growth, and that God would deepen his faith and draw him closer to Jesus throughout these next nine months.

We’re so excited to see all that God is going to do in Zach’s life during this season. We love you, Zach, and we’ll be praying for you! 🙏💙

When Comfort Becomes an Idol

Comfort is not sinful. It’s a gift from God. But comfort becomes dangerous when it has us instead of us having it.

In Luke 9, Jesus calls us to something greater than convenience. He calls us to follow Him, even when obedience is uncomfortable, costly, or inconvenient.

The Kingdom of this world says: comfort, success, power, wealth, self.

The Kingdom of God says: surrender, sacrifice, holiness, generosity, faithfulness, dependence, and above everything else, Jesus.

The question isn’t, “Do I have comfort?”
It’s, “Does comfort have me?”

Jesus chose the cross for us. So may we choose obedience over convenience, the Giver over the gifts, and Christ over everything.

There’s something powerful about doing life together. 🤝

God didn’t create us to walk alone. We need good community around us—people who encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and help us become more like Jesus.

And there’s something especially valuable about having godly mentors and leaders who are willing to walk alongside us, speak truth into our lives, and help us grow in our faith.

Find your people. Invest in community. Learn from those who have gone before you. And be willing to become that person for someone else.

We’re better together. ❤️
