Today is the day! As we prepare for VCC’s final service we are simply reflecting on the many memories we’ve made in the last decade, far too many to list! Yes, there have been ups and downs, but Pastoring this church has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. Truly, this day is challenging in ways we can’t fully verbalize; however, we know that God had these moments planned long before we ourselves began to prepare for them.
We’re thankful for the family, friends and pastors who have supported us over the years. We’re thankful for the lives that were impacted through this ministry. We’re thankful for even the moments we didn’t celebrate at the time. For all that has been, thank you Jesus! It’s really been fun!
As we look forward to what’s next, our encouragement to you is to always be obedient to God’s calling. His callings often seem odd, in poor timing, out of your league and simply difficult. Remember, it’s in those opportunities that He gets to show off the most! If it doesn’t scare you at least a little - it might not be God. Give God your YES in all things and watch what He can do with your bad attitude, inexperience, questions, hurts, dreams, Etc. What we’ve found is this, it’s always more than we could ask or imagine! For all that will be, yes Jesus!
