First Baptist Church Graceville

Our kids splashed into the fall schedule recently. We had to wait out a thunderstorm, but got some time in on the inflatables. Hardest thing was to get ‘em off at the end of the event. We also enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs. First Baptist Graceville offers a Wednesday evening children’s program from 6:00 to 7:30 featuring a light meal, recreation, and “Children in Action.” Enrollment is open anytime this fall.

This morning the people of FBC Graceville blessed the administration, staff and faculty of Graceville School (pre K-12) with gift bags containing snacks, hand sanitizer, school supplies and notes of encouragement. It’s a reminder for us to support our local educators during the school year with prayer and assistance .

The Summer Small Group Bible Study series was a hit! Approximately 50 people attended over the Sunday evening sessions.
Plans are being made for a Fall series, once a month on the Sunday evenings of August 23, September 13 and October 25, all at 5:30 PM, in homes of our members. The meetings have included meaningful Bible study, great fellowship, and tasty finger foods!

Homecoming Choir--come sing with us! If you are coming to Homecoming September 27 at FBC Graceville, here is your invitation to sing in the choir! To let us know you would like to participate, please send me an email at [email protected]. I'll send you a digital copy and a recording of the choir special for the day. All the other music will be familiar. We'll meet in the choir room at 10:30 AM that Sunday to warm up. Hope to have you join us!

Summer Sunday Small-group Bible Studies!

Please join us for the remaining Sunday evenings at six o'clock in July for Bible Studies in a relaxed environment, in the homes of some of our members.
The topic for all three sessions will be "Christ in the Old Testament." Teachers in the two locations are Joe Franklin and Bill Davis.
Group 1 location: Priscilla Jernigan; Group 2 location(s) July 12: Janie Sewell, July 19: Pam Kitching, July 26: Bobby and Sue Johns. (Locations will be provided on cards in the worship center foyer on Sunday). Available also in the worship center foyer will be a sign-up sheet for you to indicate your choice of groups. We hope to see you there!
