Have you ever felt like everyone else has a head start when it comes to faith? One of the most surprising things about Jesus is who He celebrated. Again and again, He was moved by people who seemed furthest from the inside circle. A Samaritan woman. A Gentile mother. People with complicated stories and unlikely backgrounds. What caught His attention was not where they came from. It was their trust in Him.

That is good news for all of us. God's invitation has never been about having the perfect history. It is about bringing an open heart. Faith is believing that Jesus is who He says He is and trusting Him enough to take the next step, even when you do not have all the answers.

No matter your story, your background, or where your journey has taken you, there is room for you at the table. Jesus responds to faith. πŸ™Œ

Have you ever noticed how the things you spend the most time around start rubbing off on you? The same is true spiritually. What captures our attention eventually shapes our perspective. That is why time in God's Word is about so much more than reading a few verses and moving on with your day. It is about staying connected to the voice that brings clarity when life feels loud.

Jesus didn't describe His words as helpful advice. He said they are spirit and life. Every time we open Scripture, we are not just learning something new. We are spending time with the One who knows us best. His Word has a way of settling our hearts, strengthening our faith, and reminding us what really matters when everything else is demanding our attention.

The voices around us will always have something to say. The question is: which voice are you letting shape your life?

"The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life." - John 6:63

Have you ever noticed that some of the people God used most powerfully were the ones who felt the least qualified? Moses questioned his ability to speak. Gideon doubted his significance. Jeremiah felt too young. Yet God was never limited by what they lacked because His purpose was always greater than their insecurities.

The value of your life is not determined by your accomplishments, your past, or the obstacles standing in front of you today. God created you intentionally and placed you where you are for a reason. Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, every step of obedience has the potential to impact someone else's story in ways you may never fully see.

If you have ever wondered whether your life truly matters, remember this: God does not waste people. As long as He has given you another day, He has given you another opportunity to reflect His love, serve His purpose, and make a difference in the lives around you. Your story is still being written, and God is not finished with you yet.

What is one way you can use your life to encourage someone this week? πŸ’™

What if success is not measured by what you can achieve, accumulate, or control, but by what you are willing to surrender to God?

So much of life is spent carrying responsibilities, worries, expectations, and outcomes that were never ours to hold in the first place. Scripture invites us into a different way of living. Peter reminds us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us. That kind of trust begins with honesty. We acknowledge the weight we have been carrying, release it into God's hands, and discover that real strength is found in dependence on Him. The people God used most powerfully throughout Scripture were not the ones who controlled every circumstance. They were the ones who learned to trust Him with what they could not control.

Real success is not simply reaching a destination. It is becoming the kind of person who walks closely with God, trusts Him deeply, and finds peace in His care. Which of these principles speaks to you most right now? πŸ™Œ

Distractions from deep thinking

06/19/2026

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to remember your failures and forget your redemption? Many people spend years carrying conversations that God has already settled. They replay old mistakes, old regrets, and old shortcomings until shame becomes louder than grace. Yet Jesus did not come to keep us focused on our past. He came to give us confidence to draw near to God and keep moving forward.

Growth happens when you stop measuring God's love by your performance and start trusting what Christ has already accomplished for you. The cross was enough then, and it is enough today. Lift your head, keep walking, and remember who holds your future. πŸ™Œ
