📢 Community Update
These last few weeks here at The Salvation Army have been incredibly busy. From providing camp experiences for our youth, continuing our senior program, and expanding our pantry services, we are grateful that we have been able to step up and serve our community in the ways that are needed most.
But we cannot do it alone.
This week alone, we assisted 80 clients through our food pantry. Behind every one of those 80 households was a team of people who showed up, gave their time, and served with compassion.
We had hands-on shoppers walking alongside clients through the pantry, helping them choose the items their families needed. We had front desk workers welcoming people, answering questions, and helping keep everything moving.
And we had people like Linda, a church leader here at The Salvation Army, who went above and beyond by volunteering 30 hours at our front desk this week alone.
That is what makes this ministry possible.
It is not just a building. It is not just a pantry. It is people serving people.
It is volunteers giving their time. It is staff working long hours. It is church members stepping in wherever they are needed. It is donors giving so that our shelves can be stocked. It is community partners helping us meet needs that are bigger than any one organization can handle.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who has stepped up during this busy season.
