It’s Vision Monday!

In the book of Acts we see churches planted because discipleship happened first. We see the Apostle Paul spend quite a bit of time with people before they planted churches. Our vision is to see discipleship at the core of everything we do.

It is Vision Monday.

Let’s go!!

Jesus modeled the behavior of spending time with God first, and then spending time with his disciples. He did both of these things before he went out to reach the unreached. Jesus spent a great deal of time with his disciples over the course of his ministry. Our vision is to see a church made up of disciples making disciples.

Abide

1 John 1:1-4
We believe the foundation for discipleship is time spent with Jesus. Spending time with Jesus and joyfully spending time with Jesus alongside other believers, builds disciples. The natural overflow of time with Jesus, will be the reaching of the unreached.

It’s Vision Monday!

The Apostle Paul describes the gifts and their roles in the Church. We are equipping the church and allowing them to grow as leaders through their gifting. Our vision is to have the Church led by apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers rather than lead pastors, executive pastors, youth pastors, etc.

Let’s GO!!

Jesus’ disciples were known as ordinary and uneducated people. Our vision is to see the ordinary take back the priesthood. Fulfilling the Great Commission will require more ordinary people to step out in faith, make disciples, and become church planters.

Simple.

We believe that if you strip away the desire for buildings, budgets, and butts in seats, you are able to focus on the most important things. Things like communion, worship, scripture, teaching, prayer, and taking care of those in need.

We have worked to refine our mission statement. While simple, it is very focused.
