What should I expect? Worship is led by a contemporary band and singers. Messages are biblically based and relevant to your life. What should I wear? There is no dress code here. We are informal so feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Is this a safe place for my kids? Children's ministry is available during our weekend service. Your kids will sense the love of God coming from dedicated adults who are committed to serving Jesus by teaching kids. Is this a place for my teen to connect other teens? Whether your teen is in high school or junior high they will find an environment in which to make new friends and experience God. We'll bring a biblical message of hope and challenge to them every week. We are affiliated with the Church of God with general offices in Anderson, Indiana. Deuteronomy closes with the death of Moses. Because of a previous failure to trust God, Moses is not permitted to enter the Promised Land. He experiences the consequences of his sin, but we learned that consequences are not the same as rejection. Moses’ final experience with God is marked by intimacy, not rejection. New series starting this Sunday! We will do a 30k foot overview of the final book in the Torah. We will meet a new generation of Israelites preparing to enter the Promised Land, explore the implications of some strange laws and ancient covenants, and learn from the final chapters of Moses’ story. All the while asking: what does this ancient, sacred text have to do with my modern context and story? Hope to see you Sunday!

The psalmist declares, If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness

God is not keeping a ledger of your failures.

That doesn’t mean He is unaware of our sin. It means His deepest concern is not simply the number of our trespasses, but what those trespasses are doing to our souls.

The good news of Psalm 130 is this: “With you there is forgiveness.”

From the manger to the cross, Jesus reveals the heart of God.

“Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap...” (Psalm 113:5-7)

Our hope is found in a Savior who doesn’t remain distant, but lovingly stoops to meet us in our deepest need.
