Lev 16:21 "And Aaron shall LAY BOTH HIS HANDS UPON the head of the live goat, and confess over him ALL THE INIQUITIES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISREAL, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:"
Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, GOD WILL PROVIDE HIMSELF A LAMB for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Isa_53:6b "... and THE LORD hath LAID ON HIM the iniquity of us all."
Rom 3:25-26 "Whom GOD HATH SET FORTH to be a PROPITIATION through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26. To declare, I say, at this time HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: that he might be JUST, and THE JUSTIFIER of him which believeth in Jesus.
GOD provided what man could not. The blood of Christ was NECESSARY and SUFFICIENT. Man continually laid his sins, by the ministry of the priesthood, onto sacrifices, to cover for their sins continually. The finished work of Jesus Christ was not to give man an "extra boost" to complete salvation, but to fully atone for your sins once and for all. There remaineth NO MORE sacrifice for sins (Heb 10:26). Man tries to satisfy GOD with his works, but GOD gave the only thing he could be satisfied with, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS! Now, GOD truly is just by placing his wrath upon Christ on the cross, and by it, he can be your justifier. GOD IS SATISFIED WITH CHRIST'S FINISHED WORK (I Cor 15:1-4)
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and SHALL BE SATISFIED: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for HE SHALL BEAR THEIR INIQUITIES.
