🎉 Happy 190th Birthday, FBC! 🎉

Today, Friday, September 4, we celebrate 190 years of God’s faithfulness to our church family!

Founded on September 4, 1836, our church has been blessed to worship, serve, grow, and share the Gospel across generations. What a gift it is to be part of a story that began 190 years ago—and to continue building on the foundation laid by those who came before us.

In honor of this milestone, our resident historian, Nate Zollinger, has put together and displayed our Church History Boards in the 200 hallway. 📜

As you’re at church, take a few minutes to walk through the hallway and learn more about the people, moments, and history that have shaped our church over the past 190 years.

190 years. Countless stories. One faithful God. ❤️

GOSPEL PORTRAIT: God’s Design for Marriage & Relationships ❤️

What does it really mean to love?

In a world that often defines love by feelings, convenience, or what we can get from someone else, Scripture gives us a different picture.

Biblical love looks like Jesus.

It is sacrificial.
It serves.
It is selfless.
It is patient and kind.
It doesn’t keep score or give up when things get difficult.

And here’s the truth: we love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

As we begin our new series, Gospel Portrait: God’s Design for Marriage & Relationships, Pastor Brant reminds us that Christ must be at the center of how we love—not only in marriage, but in every relationship.

The question isn’t simply, “Do I feel love?”
It’s “Does my love look like Jesus?”
