Samson had strength, gifting, and opportunity… but still drifted far from God.

This week in our Judges series, we were reminded that giftedness is not the same as spiritual fruitfulness. True strength is found in remaining close to Jesus, rooted in His Word, dependent on Him in prayer, and connected to His people.

Even in the brokenness of Samson’s story, we see the faithfulness of God pointing us to the greater Victor — Jesus.

This past Sunday in our Judges series, we looked at the miraculous birth of Samson in Judges 13 and were reminded of a powerful truth: God’s grace continues even in our failure.

Even in Israel’s repeated disobedience, God was still working behind the scenes to bring hope, deliverance, and restoration. Through the story of Manoah and his wife, we saw that:
• God brings hope out of emptiness
• God hears and responds to dependent prayer
• God reveals what we need to know, even when we don’t know everything we want to know
• God gives assurance through His presence and power

We’re thankful for the reminder that our faithful God continues to pursue failing people with grace and mercy. We hope you’ll join us next week as we continue our journey through Judges!
