Good morning, church! And a special welcome to those joining us online. We are glad you're here. This morning our worship theme is Walking in God's Light. I John 1:5-7. (5) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare directly to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all. (6) So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. (7) But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Please come and join us. Prayer is not bending the will of God. It's grasping His willingness. Our students are the future of this town and of society. The teachers and administrative staff that invest into them on a daily basis are critical. We can't understate the importance of praying for them continually consistently and courageously.

Prayer Walk for Gorman ISD – Community Event Sponsored by FBC Gorman
The entire community of Gorman is invited to join FBC Gorman for a special Prayer Walk around Gorman Independent School District. Together, we will call on the LORD who inclines, hears, protects, heals, encourages, leads, and provides on behalf of every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member at Gorman ISD.

As a church and as a community, this campus is a vital part of our mission field. We believe God is already at work, and we want to faithfully lift up the people and the place where so much of our children’s lives are shaped.

Come walk, come pray, and come stand in the gap for Gorman ISD.
Let’s seek the Lord for fields white unto harvest and ask Him to move powerfully in our schools and in our town.

Everyone is welcome. Your presence matters. Your prayers matter.

Our worship theme this morning is Our redemption is drawing near! It is taken from Luke 21:25-28
25. And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 27. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. 28. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near.
