A little late on the post, but we could not do half of the things that we do without our wonderful church volunteers.

Join us for our new sermon series:

1 THESSALONIANS — READY: Walking in Hope

Life has a way of keeping us busy. We make plans, face challenges, celebrate good days, and wonder what tomorrow will bring. But as followers of Jesus, we have a hope that changes how we walk through all of it—the promise that Jesus is coming again.

In 1 Thessalonians, Paul shows us how that hope shapes the way we live today. Together, we’ll discover what it means to stand firm, live faithfully, love others, grow in holiness, encourage one another, and keep looking forward to the day Christ returns. Because when our hope is in Jesus, we can walk through today with confidence and look toward tomorrow with hope.

What a blessing it was to go to the Tree House to Restore and Renew our relationships with God. Our goal was to release all the burdens and stresses of the world and give them all to Jesus, as well as get to know our sisters in Christ on a deeper level. Thank you Betts Ministries, for giving us a place to do exactly that. God was definitely moving all weekend.

Tomorrow is the day!!! We can not wait to see all the kids bright faces. We would like to thank our sponsors, GFWC Lake Area Woman's Club & Gordonville Volunteer Fire Department. We hope that we can partner with more churches and people next year to make this something that all of the kids in the Sherwood & Gordonville area can enjoy. Come join us.

As my nephew DeWayne would say, we are three sleeps away from our Back 2 Skool Bash! We are all so excited to host this event for the awesome kiddos in the Gordonville and Sherwood Shores area. We are hoping to make this a annual community event!
