July 17 & 18 there will be a workday at GES to paint the lunchroom, please come and help if you can.
The school has the paint and a few painting supplies.
We are welcome to come in on Friday to begin the brush work (this takes the longest).
If you are able to join us either Friday or Saturday please come and help, as long as you can (amazing what a group of people can accomplish in a short amount of time) with this much needed project to get our school ready for students and parents to begin a new year in education.
Please bring whatever painting supplies you have.
What a great way to witness to our faith as we join together to help our community.

Jump Back July School Supply Drive
It’s time for our annual school supply drive for GES and GHS. We will be collecting school supplies to donate to our teachers and students.
Please purchase some of the items and bring them to church. Loose leaf paper, pencils, snacks, disinfecting wipes, tissues and paper towels.
Sunday, July 26 we will have a covered dish lunch.
Stained Glass Window Preservation
Our stained-glass windows in the sanctuary were donated in honor or in memory by families in our church many years ago. The theme of each window takes us on the journey through God’s word. The windows are beautiful from the inside but their beauty from the outside isn’t as visible due to the yellowing of the plexiglass. Other than the outside appearance, the plexiglass is brittle and does not adequately protect the windows. To replace each window’s outside protective covering is $400. If you would like to donate to the preservation and upgrade for our stained-glass windows, please mark your check or cash donation “Windows”.
