The countdown is on! VBS begins Sunday Evening and continues through Wednesday evening. The times are 6:30-8:30 each evening.

A note concerning Mother's Day. On Mothers's Day, all of the mothers present received a handmade flower. One of our young ladies took it upon herself to make these and to present them. She displayed initiative, imagination, and persistence. This may be an indication that our young people are learning that being a Christian is more than just saying that you are one. They are learning that we are a community of folks who think about each other, who support each other, and do what we can to encourage each other. This is an instance of someone who is following the command of Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works.

Due to the strong possibility of severe weather, along with several families suffering with upset stomachs, we will not have our usual prayer meeting and Bible study time tonight.
Hopefully we will have a great Mother's Day service Sunday morning.

Revival currently in progress. Calvary Baptist Church. May 4-8, each evening at 7PM. Pastor Clay Latham, Evangelist Jimmy Holliman.

VBS is coming soon. May 31-June 3, 6:30-8:30. Many are looking forward to a good time. Pray that it will be so for all involved.

School will soon be out and the busy time of summer will be on us. Like most churches, we will have numerous activities scattered across the weeks. A list will be posted soon. Tony

Our page has been inactive for some time. Hopefully it will be more utilized in the future. Still deciding if any sermons should be posted, or if other approaches would be helpful. Very likely that some combination would best serve everyone. Tony
