The Oaks Wesleyan Church

The Oaks Wesleyan Church We are here to love Redbank. We do love gathering, so reach out if you'd like to connect! We want to be all-in for all those on Redbank.

You will find us in the community, in the coffee shop, at the schools, and gathering together at the Project.LOVE Redbank Community Center on Sundays at 10:30. We believe God has called us to DREAM BIG in bringing his light on Redbank. We see God's desire to restore broken people as they put their hope in Jesus. Our heart is to ENGAGE, ENCOURAGE and EQUIP this community to encounter and KNOW the h

ope of Jesus. He wants to restore people to the full life he has planned for each of us. Restoration requires rebuilding and rebuilding takes commitment, time, and perseverance. It takes a village standing together and working in unity. We desire to RALLY the Redbank community and walk with those who God is renewing along this journey towards restoration.

Today we turned in the keys and turned off the lights. The church has left the building and living as disciples of Jesus. While our hearts fully know that we have said yes to a fresh season with Jesus, it is bittersweet.

For over 8 years, we’ve functioned outside of the box as a tight knit family loving God and people. We’ve had seasons of plenty and want, but in each season the Holy Spirit has been tangible and growing.

🌳At our first service in 2018–we witnessed a fresh salvation!

🌳In our partnership with zynergy games—we witnessed 2 fresh salvations!

🌳We witnessed salvation occur in a McD’s parking spot that rippled to a salvation in Russia, just days before passing on…

🌳 We witnessed the Holy Spirit prove God is real and cares to So. Many. Hurting… I’m still in awe of the kindness of the Lord.

🌳 We saw people say YES to ministry opportunities and community roles.

🌳 We loved ALL people as we lived out “come as you are.”

🌳 We saw people find freedom from addictions, generational sins, and even homelessness.

🌳 We witnessed our prayers flood heaven to heal cancer and resurrect our family members!

🌳 & while there is a plethora more of Jesus moments we’re holding close to our heart, we ended our final gathering with 2 spontaneous baptisms. 😁🥹

While Isaiah 61 was our original call to be the Oaks—what we found was more of 2 Kings 13–

And he went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak. And he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” And he said, “I am.”

We came seeking the Lord and found him 🌳 and now we walk with Jesus daily.

Today we prepare to celebrate the most hopeful day in all of history. the resurrection of Jesus the Christ. we all could find ourselves in a state of construction—from the foundation of our childhood, the beams of our circumstances, the screws of our emotions, and the floor joists of the truth we believe. Our lives can seem near condemned, propped up by lotsa supports, or coming along—all real life.

If you’re looking for hope in your life’s construction—join us at 10:30 tomorrow as we learn aftesh of the one who makes beauty from broken and brings light in dark spaces. Bring a friend—bring yourself!
