Evening Prayer
Father, I offer you the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all his love, all his sufferings and all his merits:
-To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
-To purify the good I have done in my poor way this day and during all my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
-To supply for the good I ought to have done and that I have neglected this day and during all my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

God's individual, real, unchanging love is the source of our dignity. Today's Novena prayers: https://ow.ly/hOSe5100ub9

As we begin the final week of October, the Month of the Holy Rosary, let us walk with Our Blessed Mother through the Joyful Mysteries.

From Mary's humble yes to God to the finding of Jesus in the Temple, each mystery reminds us that true joy is found in trusting God's will and keeping Christ at the center of our lives.

May we begin this week with the Rosary in our hands, gratitude in our hearts, and Jesus in our lives.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

Follow EWTN Asia Pacific for more Catholic prayers, reflections, and faith-filled content.

Gospel of the Day (Luke 13,10-17)

Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the sabbath.
And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect.
When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, "Woman, you are set free of your infirmity."
He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God.
But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, "There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the sabbath day."
The Lord said to him in reply, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering?
This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the sabbath day from this bo***ge?"
When he said this, all his adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by him.
