Psalm 57: It is not our job to judge others we need to leave that to God! When we know that we are righteous and what God does for those who are made righteous through Jesus then we should live in complete peace knowing the promises of God.

Psalm 55: God hears us when we pray! We cannot let the situations around us dictate our faith. Our enemies do not have power over us. The only one with real power is the LORD. The LORD saves us from everything that rises up against us. The LORD humbles those that do not fear him. The LORD will sustain us, so we must trust in him and his word.

Psalm 54: God delivers us and gives us triumph! We can depend so much on God he does not let us down and he always brings victory. God loves his children and we can take refuge in him.

Psalms 53: There is a God! We need to call on him more. Those who are wise call on God and trust in him. Fools do not believe in God and his promises. We have to know our source of peace and power which is God. When God is the first thought that comes to mind when things are good and bad we recognize how much God moves in our lives.

Psalm 52: We are to live in the righteousness of God. We do not need to be envious of those who do wrong and seem to be prospering here on Earth. We know that the God is a God of his word and gives to the righteous. When we stay the course that God has called us to he will bless us.

Psalm 51: We all make mistakes! We all know that we make mistakes and do not live up to God's standard. The good part is that God is just to forgive us when we ask him. We have to come to a place of repentance which mean asking to be forgiven and turning away from that sin and not living in it any longer. Praise to God that we are not enslaved by sin because of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 48: God is our guide for ever and ever. He never leaves us. We can depend on him always and he will not let us down. When we follow God he always leads us down the correct path. We have the perfect guide for our lives in God and we need to follow him forever and always.

Psalm 47: We are to sing praises to our God. he reigns over all the world! He is greatly exalted and we need to treat him as such. This is a great chapter to remind us of how great God is and how no one or nothing can compare.

Psalm 45: God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in times of trouble. How often do we really lean on God in times of trouble. It can be easy for us to try to take matters into our own hands. How often does that actually work though? We can come up with temporary solutions to problems but the only permanent solution is Jesus. He says,"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." God is with us forever and we can find peace in that.

Psalms 44: How much faith do we have in God? How do we honor God with what we do and say? We have to believe that God is as great as his word says he is. We need to believe that God sees us as precious and that we are examples to those around us that God loves his children. When we know God loves us it is easier for us to love others.

Psalm 44: Do you ever feel like the Lord does not hear you or answer in times of trouble. It can seem as though God does not hear us at times. This cannot be farther from the truth. Jesus died on the cross so that we could have access to God. When we reach out to him he hears us! God's plans are so much better than ours. When we see them all the way through (which can take time) it is always worth it.

Psalm 42: When we are downcast and feel like there is no hope how do we respond? Do we complain and sit in misery? Or do we praise God and give him glory even when things are not going our way. It is easy to praise God when life is easy and it is easy to think that with God everything in our life should be easy. That is not the case God himself suffered on the cross so that all of our sins can be forgiven. For us to think that everything should be easy is a little silly. When we change or thinking from complaining to praising though the tough times are not so tough, and we learn to lean on God and not our own understanding.
