Skyway ASCEND ministry will be hosting a special New Year's Eve worship and word gathering for all in the greater Phoenix area. If you are able to join us please do at 6 PM on December 31. There will be prophetic ministry with impartation for all to advance into your calling in 2022.

Dear ASCENDING ONES!
This weekend is the Lord's appointed time of Passover. This year will be a time where God is going to advance us beyond our afflictions and set us free into a harvest season!

To all our ASCEND leaders, I hope this is helpful. We just finished a conference call with the Arizona health department with faith based leaders. At this time, AZ is not recommending canceling gatherings but gave many key recommendations which I will post below. I want to stress that those who are at risk over 60 and have respiratory issues are recommended to stay away from crowds. Skyway will be open with many precautions in place. Skyway will also have a very interactive web experience for all who are staying home. Worship, prayer and faith are essential in this time of global crisis. It is time for us to join AS ONE!
They do recommend:
1: Stay home if you are sick, specifically having a fever with a cough and congestion.
2: Cough, sneeze etc into a tissue and throw it away immediately.
3: Cough, sneeze etc into your elbow area if tissues aren’t available.
4: Have hand sanitizers and tissues readily available.
5: Clean with a bleach based product.
6: Limit access to communal food.
7: Assess the number of people sick in the local community and evaluate your plan.
8: Eye protection is better than masks, so wear your glasses.
Things we are doing at Skyway:
1: Asking people to stay home if they are sick.
2: Having tissues available
3: Having hand sanitizer available
4: Cleaning chairs, tables, doors etc before and after every service.
5: Closing snack bar
6: Asking people who aren’t comfortable in a group session to please join us online for interactive services.
7: Being aware of community outbreak and reassessing our policy.

There are three stumbling blocks to successful leadership. Perfectionism, performance, and being religious. Perfectionism believes I cannot make wrong choices. This will make us defensive when things are going wrong. Performance can cause us to live our lives like actors putting on a show. Being religious can cause us to do religious things rather than having a genuine relationship with God. In the end, these things will bring a leader down. We all need to start with an authentic relationship with God. He accepts us and is with us when we make great choices or bad ones. We must learn to operate as true sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. When we do this, we are secure and free of performing religious duties. Let's all move towards healthy leadership!
