We would love to invite you back for our Phileo Reunion during OPSU Homecoming Weekend! Join us for brunch as we reconnect, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and celebrate 10 years of Ramy and MaKenze’s leadership. We can’t wait to see familiar faces, share memories, and thank God for all He has done through this ministry.

TUESDAY NIGHT RECAP 🌱

Last night, we continued in Matthew 13:1–13, 18–23 and asked some important questions:

Are you in the Word of God?
Are you in love with it?
And are you allowing it to change you?

Jesus tells us in Luke 8:11, “The seed is the word of God.”

God’s Word is powerful. Jeremiah 23:29 reminds us that His Word is like fire and like a hammer that breaks a rock into pieces. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is living and active.

But hearing the Word isn’t enough.

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

So Ramy asked: Are you allowing Jesus to do spiritual surgery on you?

Are you letting His Word expose what needs to change? Are you allowing Him to cut away the things that keep you from becoming more like Him?

Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

And Psalm 119:105 reminds us that His Word is “a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Everything else fades, but the word of the Lord endures forever. — 1 Peter 1:24–25

Our heart for Phileo is that you wouldn’t just know about Jesus. We want you to have a passionate, personal relationship with Jesus.

Get in the Word. Fall in love with the Word. Let the Word take root in you. And then live it out.

Big thank you to Central Methodist Church in Dalhart for a great meal at Phileo today!

They’re a new church partner who has jumped in to bring, prepare, and serve lunch for our students on Tuesdays, and we are SO thankful!

Would your church like to sign up for a Tuesday? We have a couple of open weeks at the end of the semester! We’d love to have you join us!

You weren’t created to follow Jesus alone. ❤️

TUESDAY NIGHT RECAP 🌱

Last night, we dug into Matthew 13:1–23 and the Parable of the Sower.

Who is the sower? We are sowers. God is the Sower. The Word of God is meant to be sown, and the greatest gift we can share is Jesus.

Don’t sow sparingly. Sow generously. Sow boldly. Sow everywhere.

We were also reminded of the friends in Luke who tore through a roof just to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus. Are your friends tearing out roofs for you to see Jesus? Are you willing to tear out roofs to get your friends to Him?

At the end of it all, Christ is the prize. ❤️
