WHAT WE BELIEVE: (Trinity)
*We believe there is but one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7).
*We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried, to reconcile us to the Father. We believe Jesus did rise again from the dead, ascended into heaven and remains there until He returns
again to judge all men at the last day (Colossians 2:9; Romans 1:4; Luke 24:1-7).
*We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins and to break the power of sin in the believer's life (Romans 3:25; 1 John 3:5-10; Ephesians 2:1-10).
*We believe the Bible is God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; John 10:35).
*We believe in a literal heaven and hell (Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 21:7-8).
*We believe we are justified by faith alone (Romans 5:1).
*We believe in sanctification, which delivers us from the power and dominion of sin (Acts 26:18; 1 John 1:9). It is followed by life-long growth in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:16; 2 Peter 3:18).
*We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Luke 11:13; Acts 1:5; 2:14, 8-17; 10:44-46; 19:6).
*We believe healing is available through what Jesus accomplished in his death on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:14-16; Exodus 15:26).
*We believe Jesus Christ will return again (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:1-4; Matthew 24:29-44), and we love and wait for His appearing (2 Timothy 4:8).
*We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).

**Regeneration Nashville was started in November 2007. After preaching for over 25 years for special events around the world, Pastor Kent Christmas heard a word from God that said simply... start a church. Obedience to God's word started humbly the next Sunday morning with 4 in attendance. But God is not interested in where we start. He's interested in where we finish. Regeneration Nashville believes in missions. Working in our community to serve those less fortunate and many who have found themselves at the lowest level of society, the homeless. Pastor Kent's wife, Candy, started The Bridge Ministry in 2004 and today, with volunteers from Regeneration Nashville and support from churches across the country, serves Nashville's near 11,000 homeless. Every Tuesday night at 6:00pm as many as 350 homeless show up for a free meal, praise and worship singing and to hear a powerful word from God. Regeneration Nashville is non-traditional in many respects. There are literally hundreds of churches in the Nashville area with new ones being built seemingly every day. Most of these churches have beautiful sanctuaries and educational facilities. Many are situated strategically on high traffic corners of prime real estate. And most, have large debt. Regeneration Nashville is not a church in debt. The bible says a lot about debt and none of it is good. Instead of church buildings, we're focused on the church body. Currently, we meet in a warehouse every Sunday morning. It is suitable for our needs today. But as we continue to grow, we'll need larger and larger spaces. We chose not to build a church building because we feel we'd be limiting what God has planned to the size and budget that man can envision. We don't believe that borrowing millions to build space for hundreds will be enough when they come by the thousands.
