Registration is open for VBS 2026 at St. Peter's Church! Details on the sign up form.

Details: VBS July 13-17, 2026 at St. Peter's Church is from 9:00-3:30pm for 1st-6th graders. 4yr Old PreK- Kindergarten from 9:00-11:30am. Friday, July 17th ALL kids from 9:00-11:30am. Program at 11:30am on Friday, followed by a picnic potluck (hot dogs & drinks provided).

All are welcome to join us on Memorial Day at 11:30am for worship in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Outdoor potluck to follow.

LCC Comfort Dog Gideon and his handlers Pam and Laurel visited us at Sunday School today. He is currently the only LCC Comfort Dog in Minnesota, but 3 other metro churches have applied. He is hosted by St Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington.

Gideon will be 11 on Wednesday and regularly visits a Kindergarten class (he's in the yearbook!), a high school, Normandale Community College, and many hospitals and senior living facilities. He also traveled to Ulvadle following the school shooting. Comfort Dogs live with a host family at their church and have 8-10 trained handlers to take them on visits. Dogs are trained from 8 months old and adopted by a Lutheran congregation around 2 years old.

The Sunday School raised $398 during Lent to help with training, vet bills, and travel.
