Farewell letter from Pastor Chris Stewart.
It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve as your pastor. To preach Godβs Word, shepherd His people, and labor together for the sake of the Gospel has been an honor I will always cherish. I have sought to serve faithfully, yet I recognize my imperfections, and I ask your forgiveness where I have fallen short.
In the last, our church has faced challenges and disagreements. In ministering through these situations, I sought to act with integrity, uphold Scripture, and care for all involved. I am grateful for your patience, prayers, and the many opportunities we have had to counsel, encourage, and support one another.
I also thank God for the ministry we have shared in the times of visiting those in need, strengthening discipleship, connecting with families, and building relationships in our community. These efforts were always for the glory of Christ and the growth of His church.
As you move into a new season may God grant wisdom to the leadership and grace to every member as you move forward together in faithfulness to Him and His Word.
Please know I hold no bitterness and will continue to pray for the health, growth, and spiritual vitality of this congregation. Thank you for allowing me to serve. The memories, conversations, prayers, and moments of ministry we shared will remain dear to me for many years.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, deepen your love for one another, and use this church as a shining light for the Gospel in this community.
Chris Stewart
