Welcome to Cathy McRorey, our new office administrator! We are so happy she has joined us and now, more about her. In Cathy’s words, “She has an amazing husband, Larry, and they celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in May”. Larry is an ordained pastor with the Methodist Church and currently serves as a chaplain in San Antonio at Northeast Methodist Hospital and at Stone Oak Methodist Hospital. They have one daughter, Annelise, and a granddaughter, Kendall. Cathy grew up in San Angelo, Texas, and lived there until her husband felt the call to go into the ministry. They moved to Atlanta, Georgia so he could attend seminary. After his graduation they served in England for a year in Great Crosby, a suburb of Liverpool, and as a Beatles fan, it was quite fun for her to live there! They have resided in many cities during his time as a minister, including Alice, Beeville, Bandera, and Portland, and currently live in Seguin. They are close to their daughter and granddaughter, but also close to Larry's work. Cathy has worked in customer service jobs most of her life and has been a church administrator at Grace Lutheran Church in Bandera and at St. John's UMC in Corpus Christi. Cathy has always felt that an office administrator position is more than a job, and as she gets to know us better, the Gonzales Presbyterian Church will feel like home to her. Cathy’s office hours will be Monday from 9 am to 2 pm, Wednesday from 9 am to 2 pm, and Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm. If there are any deviations to this schedule, she will let us know in advance. Some of our church family and friends are active at “Come and Take It Dance”. Recently they performed with others in “Adagio of Eden”. This is a wonderful opportunity for those in our community who wish to dance and also for us to be able to watch their performances. The credit for the photos below goes to “Come and Take It Dance.” Thank you for bringing this business to Gonzales and to those who participate and share your talents with us!

Do you know someone who needs meals delivered?

If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance-let us deliver meals through our Home Delivered Meal Program. You will get 5 meals per week.

TO APPLY: Call the State of Texas at 210-438-6208. A representative will take an application over the phone. Once approved, we will receive notification to start delivery. That's it!

We deliver meals for the entire county of Gonzales.

Pastor Ryan talked to our Young Disciples this morning about Romans 5:1-11, where the Apostle Paul explains that we are justified through faith in Jesus Christ. God loves us all and that His love is unconditional!
