NEW SERMON SERIES: From Burnout to Balance

Life can get crowded fast.

Too many responsibilities.
Too many commitments.
Too many yeses.
Too little rest.
Too little margin.
Too little space to hear from God.

Before long, we’re not just busy—we’re worn down, stressed out, and running on empty.

This Sunday, we’re starting a new sermon series called, From Burnout to Balance: Restoring Margin to Overloaded Lives.

Together, we’ll look at what Scripture says about slowing down, finding healthier rhythms, learning when to say no, making room for rest, and trusting God’s timing instead of living under constant pressure.

You don’t have to live overloaded.

God has a better pace for your life.

When most of us hear “Iran,” our minds go straight to the news.

Politics. Conflict. Tension. Headlines.

But did you know ancient Iran — known in the Bible as Persia — shows up in the Old Testament in some powerful ways?

This Sunday, we’re looking at Persia in the Bible: Iran in the Old Testament, and asking a bigger question:

What does Persia teach us about God?

We’ll see how God named Cyrus before he ever showed up, moved the heart of a king, worked behind the scenes in Esther’s story, answered Daniel’s prayer even when there was unseen resistance, and reminded His people that His kingdom outlasts every empire.

The big reminder is simple:

God is still working — over the nations, behind the scenes, and right where you are.
