Happy Friday family. Let’s get real about this one—2020 has been hard. However, things aren’t going to magically change once Jan. 1st of 2021 comes, in fact maybe not much WILL change. But, there is joy to be had TODAY. If we take a look at Romans 12:12 and 5:3, we know pain and suffering isn’t for nothing. One day we will be in Heaven and persevere no more, but here and now is when we have the opportunity to be BRAVE and embrace what 2020 has been—brave to come to God, come back to God. As put it last night at a leadership meeting, farmers can’t just put a crop into a microwave—it takes time. It takes grace. It takes joy. Remember, your mind and heart are POWERFUL, just like you are what you eat—well, you are what you consume yourself with. This may be hard, but you are stronger; you may have experienced setbacks, but you are stronger because God is consistent when the world isn’t. Today and this weekend, ask God where He wants you to experience more joy—and welcome that joy. We are allowed to feel sorrow and joy in the same day. The enemy would love to keep you stuck in disappointment.
