REMINDER: This week, our summer meals and kids' classes begin!
6:00 - All members and guests are invited to join us for supper. This week we will have pizza, salad, and dessert.
6:30 - Happy Camper class for our PK-5 kiddos. Come sit around the campfire and share this week's lesson, "Catching Some Fish".

Comanche VBS Update: Goldthwaite Church of Christ ministers to Comanche, Texas, Church of Christ by taking our VBS on the road. Our church team has provided support with the live play of David and Goliath, registering children, teaching Arts and Crafts, providing art supplies, a sound system, homemade cookies for the snack room, and prayers from our congregation. On the very first day, there were 51 children. 40 came from Comanche, Hamilton had 2, Brownwood had 2, Rising Star had 2, DeLeon had 2, Gustine had 2, and Mullin had 1. With the Goldthwaite Church of Christ, all things are possible through Christ. Reaching and teaching children about the bible in other communities.

We are really enjoying Vacation Bible School with record attendances! We invite all parents and the community to attend our VBS Open House on Wednesday evening, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. We will have a short program and a video of all the week's activities. Refreshments will be provided as well. Come and be our guest!

VBS is fast approaching, and everyone is hard at work for this to happen. We are a blessed congregation to have so many kids attend last year and to get to help with the Comanche Church of Christ VBS. Our congregation is very hardworking and has extensive community outreach. Postcards were sent to kids who came last year to invite them to VBS 2026. In our play this year, we have some famous actors such as Goliath, played by James Miller, and David, played by Steve Kaufman, and Travis Watson. Our script was written by Amye Eudy, and it is great. Look forward to seeing this play in action. Jean Ables, Annette Leverett, and Elaine Watson have been busy decorating the room and making it come to life.

DATES to REMEMBER:
May 24th (Sunday): Plan for VBS with Amye Eudy after church if
you are helping in any capacity.
May 26th (Tuesday) 10:00 am: Meet in the fellowship hall for a
workday. We will be making slingshots. Make harps for arts and
crafts.
June 1-3 (Mon.-Wed.) 9:30 am-12:00 pm: VBS at Goldthwaite
Church of Christ.
June 8-10 (Mon.-Wed.) 9:30-12:00 pm: VBS in Comanche, Texas.
