The Southern District Youth Department, Sub-District Youth Leaders and Fieldworkers had our annual site visit this weekend to the venue of our upcoming BYU Convention in June. The Wyndham Resort in Virginia Beach, VA is preparing for our arrival and is excited to host the Southern District. The facilities, rooms and suites are very nice and the staff very attentive.
We visited the Ocean Breeze Waterpark, our outing for Friday and know the delegates, guests and chaperones will enjoy a fun day in the sun! The hotel restaurant, Surf Club Ocean Grille, will have breakfast free for all who register and are staying on site. The VA beaches are beautiful too! I checked out a couple of local restaurants while there and the service and food was amazing! Be sure to register for the Convention asap as rooms are running out. We have activities, workshops, and services the whole week to meet everyone of all ages. See you the week of June 22 in Virginia Beach!
