Greetings All,
I wanted all to know that we had a very successful Wreaths Across America event, and also, show appreciations to organizations who supported us throughout 2025.
Wreaths Across America was a great success thanks to the new coordinators Sean and Brittany. They took the positions on short notice and made it happen. They had lots of help but were willing to let others take the reins and handle business. They did was few others could or were willing to do.
This was one of the larger ceremonies we’ve had and it ran smoothly. The numbers weren’t looking great 1 week out but finished at 100% coverage for Veteran gravesites. Other than parking, which is out of anyone’s control, I didn’t hear any complaints; only complements. However, if you were worried about your Veteran receiving a wreath, the only way to ensure one is to purchase one next year. You don’t have to wait; you can order wreaths now while it’s fresh on your mind.

We’ve had many other organizations and businesses give us assistance in 2025. Our #1 Supporters are the members of the Patriot Guard Riders in Goldsboro. They are the only group that promised on Day 1 to support the cemetery and NEVER failed to come through. They give more than they’ll ever receive and are allowed to be a part of the cemetery instead of just being a volunteer.

Last but far from least, the following companies have provided tremendous aid by volunteering or donating items to the cemetery. We’ve had emergency situations answered in hours and volunteer efforts that saved hundreds of hours. When dealing with businesses, it’s hard to tell who to trust, but these listed have gone above and beyond to support our Veterans and their Families. And they never asked for attention in doing so.

With support like this, we hope to make the cemetery even better in 2026.
