Trinity United Methodist Church of Goldsboro had their secret sister reveal at Denton diner today!!!!

We all have been blessed to shower each other with little gifts for over a year and send encouragement to one another!

Secret sisters also prayed for one another and this makes so much difference in the lives these busy women, moms, and grandma’s!

We plan to do something different this year instead of secret sisters gifting each other other things we’re going to try and bless our community!

Secret sisters of Trinity United Methodist plan to find community organizations in need and support them!

We all have been blessed with so much and don’t need anything at all so we want to give to other others!

Our youth at Trinity United Methodist have decided that they would like to have a secret someone that they can give gifts and encouragement to!

We love this idea and plan to incorporate it in our youth group! Great idea, kids!!!!!

It’s been a lot of fun, ladies thank you all so much!

Last night at the Youth Group meeting, the kids worked so hard to clean up the campground in my woods.

My hope is for the kids to come here and have bible study when the cooler weather comes.

We will next be working on clearing the path of trees that have grown in the path of the ZIP LINE!

We have our work cut out for us, but GOD IS IN IT!

Last night was the kickoff to our youth group meetings for Trinity, United Methodist Church of Goldsboro!

I was so blessed to host this meeting in my home and put to use what was once The Man Cave, and is now become The Cottage for the work of the Lord!

I’ve always felt in my heart that the property that I have should be used to share with others and especially the children of my church.

I have a small campsite on my property and I really want it to be a place where my children of the church can come and hear about the word of God and learn about how much he loves them.

I think the kids of my church know that but the most important thing is having a place to come and just be themselves even if it’s for a few hours once a month.

I hope to take what they learn about God and his word, and move it from their little heads into their hearts so that they never will forget it as they grow, and whether the storms of life that are bound to come.

These children are our future. They are the future of my little church in Goldsboro. They are the future of this world.

So thank you for allowing me to host this event and hopefully many more and to use what God has given me to serve other others.

A HUGE THANKS to all who helped with this event! You will be blessed for all that you did and the children and I most certainly were!

🔥 A cold fireplace is beautiful to look at… but is it doing what it was built to do?

​Trinity and Calvary, this is the question we are facing this week. We love our bricks, our mantles, and the generations of memories that fill our sanctuaries. But are we more in love with the structure, or the fire?

​This Sunday, we’re digging into a hard—but crucial—truth: It’s not enough to be organized, established, and faithful in habit. The Holy Spirit didn’t build a monument; God wants to ignite a movement.

​Join us as we explore the tension between structure and Spirit in Week 3 of “Alive.” We’ll be in Exodus 40, 1 Thessalonians, and John 3.

​It’s time to stop polishing the bricks and start welcoming the wind. Let’s put down the buckets of caution and ask the Spirit to kindle what needs to come alive in us.
