Adam completely lost the spirit-to-spirit or heart-to-heart connection when he sinned. The literal lifeline was severed for him and all his offspring. First, the system of sacrifices was implemented, and then the Law was established to provide a means for the Lord to relate to mankind and vice versa. However, they were only weak bridges between the Holy Almighty and death-contaminated man.

Over the course of 4,000 years, only a few had even limited insight into the Father and even fewer had a true relationship with Him. It took the life and blood of Jesus, His Son, to recover all. And recover all is exactly what He did.

Thank God for the life and blood of Jesus! 🩸🩸🩸🩸

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17

Every border that God creates has a built-in blessing. In Genesis 2:8-15, God created a garden east of Eden. He did not create a global garden; He created a garden with borders, four rivers that encompassed Eden. He placed Adam and Eve inside those boundaries, and He gave Adam a job. He instructed him to keep and tend the garden.

He also established another boundary in the Garden of Eden when He warned Adam that he could eat of all the other trees in the whole garden except the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When Adam crossed that border, God withdrew the blessing. God did not choose. Adam chose. When he violated God’s border, even the natural borders became chaotic. Even the borders of truth were confused.

When we step beyond what God allows, we choose a curse instead of a blessing. As our verse today indicates, God’s Word is truth. It tells us who we are, how we were created, who we are intended to be, how we can be redeemed, and how we must live within His borders to be sanctified and receive the blessings of God.

When we choose to control those borders and submit our lives to the one true God, we find a Provider, a Protector, a Healer, a Savior, a Deliverer, and a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. He sets life and death, a blessing and a curse before us. We must choose wisely so that we and those who follow behind us will experience abundant life!⁀⋱‿.💖

Father, Your Word tells us there is nowhere we can go to escape Your presence. Your hand is there to guide us and to hold us. You are our shelter from the storms and our shade from the heat. You are with us, pouring your strength, power, grace, and comfort into us. You are there, wiping our tears, grieving with us, holding us under the shadow of your wing, and always whispering, “I am with you.” We ask you to fill us to overflowing with your Spirit, grace, peace, wisdom, and truth. May we use your Word, just as Jesus did, to rebuke the lies and attacks of the enemy. Thank you for being our helper, deliverer, and an ever-present source of strength and help in times of trouble, as you continue to lead, guide, protect, and save the lost!! ~In Jesus' name, Amen!! ⁀⋱‿.💖
