The most excusable yet inexcusable commandment to break is what we will be focusing on today. There are millions of excuses to break this one that range from perceived life or death to just not wanting to deal with an issue, topic, or situation. Regardless, when God says "No" He means it. Today we start talking about those commandments which have been watered down over the years. These remaining four, dealing with our earthly relationships, not only have been misunderstood, but they have been ignored by many (inside as well as outside the church). Listen with a prayerful heart as we seek to understand God's heart in giving these laws to us through Moses. God bless you as you seek to learn and encouraged as well as challenged today.

Have you ever noticed that there are times we just get it wrong? We think we know something, we tell others we know it, and we act upon the presumed fact that we do know it. Well, in Old Testament times as well as New Testament times and even today, there are things we think we know (especially about God) that is not true. For instance, for this week and next, we will be looking deeper into the meaning of God's commandments - numbers 6 and 7 specifically. Happy 250th Birthday to our United States of America! Today we see some of the effects of our Christian heritage upon the formulation of our nation. We'll also hear about what must be done to regain God's favor and receive His blessings upon our nation. Happy Father's Day! I realize that for many folks, asking for help is a sign of weakness. However, I believe just the opposite. In the most important to the least important things we do, we must realize that help is available. Congratulations to our 2026 graduates! Another milestone has been achieved in their lives. Just remember this achievement was not gained alone. There are many who encourage, pray, strengthen, and share wisdom with us along the way. Today we are reminded of Character...what it means, what it entails, and what it looks like in an individual. God bless you in your future endeavors and remember without Jesus in our life there will always be something amiss!
