Memorial Day - it's a day we set aside to remember those who sacrificed their all for our freedom and our nation. Today we do just that with thankful hearts. We also seek to remember and honor another who gave His life for us. Many died for our freedom, peace, and safety here in the various wars we have faced. Another has died for our freedom, peace, and safety for all eternity. Thank you for joining our time of worship. God bless you - real good!

Can you see the invisible? Today we take a deeper look at one of those commandments many believe is not applicable for us today. However, we all need to be reminded that our good God is also a jealous God! He does not want us to put anything before Him. In fact, the best legacy we could leave our families and friends is a testimony of serving God with all we are and all we have. Jealousy in us can be and usually is an ugly experience. However, with God it's different. Yes, He is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5) and for good reasons. Today we take a deeper look at His first commandment as given to Moses...You shall have no other gods before Me. So, if you want to bless your children and grandchildren and if you want to leave a wonderful legacy, start by obeying this command (Exodus 20:6). Are you a believer in Jesus? If so, how can people know you are one of HIs followers? One of those ways is through demonstrated obedience. Listen to what the great prophet & priest Samuel said as he spoke to Israel's first king (Saul). "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams." (1 Samuel 15:22) Therefore, we demonstrate our love for God and His Son through obeying HIs commands. Throughout Scripture we are reminded of the Messiah, the Anointed One, the very Son of God who would come to set us free. In our text for today, we find three irrefutable evidence to prove Jesus is The Worthy One. Well, for the second week in a row, a winter storm has hit our area, and we were not able to meet for worship. However, we still can and should worship (if only individually).
