What a great morning! Thank you everyone who volunteered! Our first outreach!

We met at the church to divide into groups, pray, then we dispersed to wash windows, pick up trash (and butts!!), clean chairs and tables, interact with people in the community, and pass out cards with St Stephen’s information 🙂 shout out to Uniquely R's for the free coffee! We also sent a group to Downtown Goldsboro The Hub to wash tables, w**d, pick up trash, and deliver goodie bags to the police and fire departments!
And a big thank you to Ashley Fleming
And Father David Wyly for making lunch!

Hello St Stephens! Goldsboro is having a July 4th celebration and St Stephens is going to assist with kids activities! It will be at the fairgrounds. As you know, we are not doing a VBS this summer. Instead we are volunteering in the community!
There are a number things we can assist with -
Water table
Patriotic craft
Build-your-own-American-flag stations
Bubble table
“Hope Wall” where attendees write encouragements
If you’re interesting in helping with this and can volunteer part or all of the day (its from 5-9pm), please let Laurie know!
